Patterns

Mark performance

Catch / session
How patterns are found: each session is compared with its own mark's usual catch, so busy marks don't make their conditions look good, and blanks count. A pattern needs enough sessions across 3+ marks. Strong / Moderate / Emerging show how clear the difference is; Emerging ones may be chance until more sessions confirm them.

App build — if this doesn't match what you expect, you are viewing an old copy of the file, not this one.

Export & ownership

Download your complete fishing knowledge at any time. Exports include unsuccessful sessions as well as catches.

Excel includes marks and habitats. The full backup contains everything the app stores and is the best file to keep safe.

Import your fishing history

Everyone tracks their sessions differently, so imports use one simple CSV template rather than trying to guess your format. If your existing records are messy — a mixed spreadsheet, a paper logbook, notes in an app — the fastest route is to hand both your raw data and this template to an AI assistant (such as Claude) and ask it to map your data into the template's columns before you upload it here.

Optional CSV columns: Catch Time, Tide Stage, Sub Mark, Weight, Photo.
Weather and tide backfill, UK tide data, session details import and reset.

What is included

Marks and GPS • sub-marks • sessions and blanks • rod/setup history • catches • bait and rig data • environmental conditions • reusable custom presets

Portable by design

Timestamps use ISO 8601 UTC and coordinates remain numeric. The workbook opens in Excel, while the CSV can be used in spreadsheets, databases and other fishing apps.
